Ornaith Giblin is the Partner responsible for leading the Accounting & Finance Senior Qualified Appointments practice of Barden’s talent advisory and recruitment firm in Leinster.
A Chartered Accountant and Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland, Ornaith holds a Degree and a Master’s in Accounting & Finance from DCU. She trained with KPMG before joining the Ardagh Group plc, where she worked for four years. She then moved to EY as a Senior Manager in FAAS, before returning to Ardagh as Financial Controller and subsequently being promoted to Finance Director for their Irish business, also serving as Company Secretary and Director.
Ornaith joined Barden in 2022 and was appointed Partner in January 2026. Her extensive real-world experience helps her to guide finance professionals through their career transitions and shape their futures. Ornaith’s background also enables her to support clients strategically, moving beyond a purely functional approach and quickly gaining insight into requirements and pain points. She is an active member of the Chartered Accountants Ireland Leinster Society, serving as Deputy Treasurer.
